Real estate law is one of the main focus­es of our notary publics’ activ­i­ties. We notarise prop­er­ty pur­chase agree­ments and oth­er trans­fer-and-dona­tion con­tracts involv­ing land with sin­gle or mul­ti­ple fam­i­ly hous­es, con­do­mini­ums or com­mer­cial prop­er­ties almost on a dai­ly basis. Our notaries also fre­quent­ly draft dec­la­ra­tions of par­ti­tion in accor­dance with the Ger­man Act on the Own­er­ship of Apart­ments (Woh­nung­seigen­tums­ge­setz) and notarise all con­tracts required in prop­er­ty devel­op­ment projects.

Our notaries are also avail­able to assist par­ties in the area of real estate law in the notari­sa­tion of land charges and oth­er mort­gages. They take care of the encum­brance or dele­tion of ease­ments such as rights of way or line rights, the cre­ation of usufruc­tu­ary rights and the grant­i­ng of rights of res­i­dence. The cre­ation, can­cel­la­tion and trans­fer of hered­i­tary build­ing rights (Erb­bau­rechte) is also fre­quent­ly per­formed by our notaries’.
