Real estate law is one of the main focuses of our notary publics’ activities. We notarise property purchase agreements and other transfer-and-donation contracts involving land with single or multiple family houses, condominiums or commercial properties almost on a daily basis. Our notaries also frequently draft declarations of partition in accordance with the German Act on the Ownership of Apartments (Wohnungseigentumsgesetz) and notarise all contracts required in property development projects.
Our notaries are also available to assist parties in the area of real estate law in the notarisation of land charges and other mortgages. They take care of the encumbrance or deletion of easements such as rights of way or line rights, the creation of usufructuary rights and the granting of rights of residence. The creation, cancellation and transfer of hereditary building rights (Erbbaurechte) is also frequently performed by our notaries’.
