Family Law

Our notarial practice in family law matters has a special focus on marriage contracts. This includes precautionary agreements before a marriage or concluded during an intact marriage, as well as crisis marriage contracts, which spouses only enter into in situations in which a marriage is facing a crisis. But also separation and divorce agreements are regularly subjects of our notarial practice in the field of family law.

An additional focus of our notaries’ activities lies in the borderline area between family law and inheritance law: certification of powers of attorney and living wills. Even though this service is now offered by a wide variety of providers such as banks, hospitals or charitable organisations, powers of attorney certified by a notary public in particular offer clear advantages over declarations from such institutions. Finally, our notary publics are available when it comes to any and all issues involving adoption — regardless of whether the parties involved wish to adopt a minor or an adult.
