This includes the review and draft­ing of con­trac­tu­al agree­ments and the exe­cu­tion of con­tracts in numer­ous branch­es of indus­try and trade. The project-relat­ed advice of our clients in Ger­many and abroad, in par­tic­u­lar regard­ing com­plex plant engi­neer­ing projects, is also a focus of our prac­tice in the area of com­mer­cial law.

In addi­tion, the review as well as prepa­ra­tion of gen­er­al terms and con­di­tions are a stan­dard part of our activ­i­ties. In this con­text, we not only main­tain a focus on the strict require­ments of nation­al juris­dic­tion, but also attach great impor­tance to the spe­cial aspects of indus­try-spe­cif­ic reg­u­la­to­ry con­tent. We are also hap­py to assist our clients in the audit­ing and draft­ing of dis­tri­b­u­tion struc­tures — with a focus on com­mer­cial agency and dis­trib­u­tor agree­ments — and pro­vide ongo­ing advice on all issues relat­ing to the draft­ing of dis­tri­b­u­tion agreements.

In the event of com­mer­cial law dis­putes with cus­tomers or sup­pli­ers, we sup­port our clients from the very begin­ning — effec­tive­ly and with a results-ori­ent­ed approach. Even though we always keep the finan­cial-eco­nom­ic back­ground and long-term busi­ness rela­tion­ships of the par­ties involved in these dis­putes in mind, tak­ing legal action can often be the right and expe­di­ent course. We act as coun­sel for our clients in pro­ceed­ings before the reg­u­lar courts or in arbi­tra­tion pro­ceed­ings and are also reg­u­lar­ly involved in pro­ceed­ings in oth­er coun­tries — either by act­ing as coun­sel our­selves or by involv­ing long-stand­ing, expe­ri­enced cor­re­spon­dent colleagues.
